Spam Filters include Internet BlackList lookup for known spammers so that contact with them is prohibited, Friends/Enemy List to allow you to receive emails from friends only, Bayesian Analysis which calculates the probability of a message being spam based on its contents, Regular Spam Expressions, Email Attachment Filter with the ability to delete, quarantine or compress particular emails as they come through, options to strip all HTML, just Dangerous HTML & all Attachments from Emails. The Spam Blackout Spam Filtering engine has a Plugin architecture, allowing you to add new Spam Filters. Spam Blackout places Spam securely in it's Spam Queue and places Emails containing Viruses into Quarantine. If a legitimate email is classified as Spam, you can simply move it to the Non-Spam Folder, so that it is received into your Inbox. Spam Blackout's Email Viewer is Virus Proof. Spam Blackout gives you the option to synchronise your Local PC Clock Date and Time with that of an External Day/Time Server, so your email dates and times are always accurate. Spam Blackout lets you decide how often you want to poll the External Server for Emails. The default is 10 minutes.
